Michael Silverwood has served as the primary photographer for UNHPHOTOS.COM since 2002, and has been involved in sports action photography since 1977. In addition to his work with the University of New Hampshire, he also freelances for The Associated Press, The Concord (NH) Monitor, Portsmouth (NH) Herald, and The New Hampshire Union Leader. His images have been published in major national and regional newspapers, including The New York Times, USA Today, and The Boston Globe, as well as ESPN The Magazine. His credits include commissioned projects for America 24/7, The New England Hockey Journal, USA Hockey Magazine, Inside Lacrosse, and Training And Conditioning.
Michael resides with his wife Judy, son Tyler, and daughter Kendyl in southeastern New Hampshire.
